Spotify are looking for an outstanding Podcast Sales Specialist to join their growing team. They're looking for someone with a proven record of revenue generation and a deep interest in podcasts and audio innovation to be a part of the expansion in EMEA. They need someone who loves podcasts and knows how to communicate their value to clients and partners. They are building the podcast business and you will be a partner for the sales team, a voice in the market from both a sales and tactical execution perspective. You should be confident, work hard, but also know how to have fun. Above all, your work will impact the way the world engages in audio experiences!

What You'll Do

Be the local sales specialist and strategist for podcast advertising sales while creating, maintaining, and sustaining relationships with media agencies, creative agencies, and clients directly

Package and sell podcast advertising inventory across two key markets, the UK and Sweden

Play an intricate role introducing Spotify Audience Network to the marketplace

Partner closely with the Spotify frontline sales force to provide incremental value, additive revenue and excellent collaboration across podcast offerings

Work across multiple agency departments, i.e. radio, digital, branded content and innovation teams, to sell through and deliver successful podcast campaigns

Coordinate with the communications planning team and strategic planners, account directors, and buyers to create successful ad campaigns

Work fluidly with internal teams and help to ensure that our podcasts are ready for monetization at scale

Work closely with internal teams on operations to ensure local podcasts are set up for monetization

Partner internally with sales support, marketing and Spotify Studios teams to maximise revenue for Spotify and our partners

Attend/lead client meetings to present in-depth sales narrative, data, insights & research

Ensure full compliance for all podcast operational processes throughout the campaign lifecycle, working closely with local sales support and participating in planning and booking process for all campaigns

Work alongside Account Directors on incoming RFPs with 1st & 3rd party data & insights

Lead on post campaign analyses & define actionable next steps for brands after a campaign has ended

Focus on brand sell, educating and inspiring our clients to use Spotify podcast content to enhance their business goals and outcomes

Meet and exceed advertising revenue goals

Attend weekly and monthly sales meetings as required

Represent Spotify at events and serve as a brand ambassador

Manage activity using salesforce.com and other internal systems

You will work in their London office
